The Educational Farm Silo

• Silos are for storing silage or haylage, a healthy fermented livestock feed that is nutrient dense; in the Bible this type of feed is called fodder
• Silos are disappearing from America's landscape, and are being replaced with plastic bags for silage or haylage storage
• Our silo was rebuilt, for the purpose of educating about farms and the food they produce for people and animals
• Our silo is unlike any other.  It has a circular staircase, 4 stories high, that enable visitors to advance to the top floor
• The silo provides a bird's eye view of the farm and livestock
• The fourth floor is The Good Shepherd Prayer Silo (GSPS) room
